Practica Scratch 1. Getting Started with Scratch

TUTORIAL. GETTING STARTED WITH SCRATCH

0. JOIN SCRATCH


1. Start Moving (Empieza a mover)

Drag a move block into the Scripts area. (Arrastra un bloque mover al área de Programas)

Then, click on that block to make the cat move: (Luego, haz clic en ese bloque para mover al gato:)

2. Add a Sound (Añade un sonido)

Drag out a play drum block (from Sound) and snap it onto the move block. (Arrastra un bloque tocar tambor (de Sonido) y encájalo en el bloque mover block).
Click and listen. Make sure your computer's speakers are on. (Haz clic y escucha. Asegúrate que los altavoces de tu ordenador estén encendidos) (Este apartado no lo podemos hacer porque en el Centro los ordenadores no tienen sonido, pero en vuestra casa si podeis investigar).

3. Start a Dance (Comienza el baile)

Add another move block. Click inside the block and type in a minus sign. (Añade otro bloque mover. Haz clic dentro del bloque y escribe un signo menos).
Add another play drum block, then choose a drum from the pull-down menu. (Agrega otro bloque tocar tambor, luego elige un tambor del menú desplegable.)
Click on any of the blocks to run the stack: (Haz clic en cualquier bloque para ejecutar el conjunto:)

4. Again and Again (Repetir y repetir)

Drag out a repeat block and drop it on top of the stack. (You want the "mouth" of the repeat to wrap around the other blocks.) (Arrastra un bloque repetir y colócalo en la parte superior de la pila. (Quieres que la "boca" derepetir se envuelva alrededor de los otros bloques.))
Click to run the stack: (Haz clic para ejecutar la pila:)

5. Say Something

Click looks and drag out a say block. 
Type in the block to change the words:
Then snap it on top of the stack. Click on the stack to run.

6. Green Flag

Drag out a when  clicked block and snap it on top.
Your script will start whenever you click the green flag: 
To stop, click the stop button: 

7. Change Color

Now to try something different... Drag out achange effect block.
Click to see what it does.

8. Key Press

Snap on a when key pressed
Now press the space bar on your keyboard and watch what happens.
You can choose a different key from the menu:

9. Add a Background

You can add new backdrops on the Stage.
Click  to choose a New backdrop from the Library (such as "Spotlight-Stage"):

10. Add a Sprite

Each object in Scratch is called a sprite. To add a new sprite, click one of these buttons:

NEW SPRITE BUTTONS

 Choose sprite from the library
 Paint your own sprite
 Upload your own image or sprite
 Take a picture (from a webcam)
To add this sprite, click  then select "Cassy Dance":

Drag the characters to where you want them on the Stage.

11. Explore!

You can add sound and animation to your new sprite.

ADD SOUND

Click the Sounds tab. You can:
 Choose a Sound
 Record Your Own
 Import a Sound File
Then, click Scripts, and drag in a play soundblock. Choose the sound you want from the menu and click to play.

ANIMATE

Click the Costumes tab to see a sprite's costumes. You can animate by switching between costumes.
Click Scripts and make a script that switches between costumes:

12. Share!

SHARE YOUR PROJECT

Type a title for your project.
Click 
Type in notes to explain how to use your project. Give credit to anyone who helped.
When you're ready for others to see your project, click the Share button.
